Yes, I Wear A Bra And It Shows. So?

Girl_Posts

Why? Why do you do that? Stare at my breasts like they are cute babies calling out to be cuddled. Strip me naked, slowly, every time I enter the bus? Try to glimpse into my cleavage when I am sitting and reading in the metro.
Who gives you the right? To grope me in the crowded bus? To fall on me “innocently” when I buy popcorn in the theater. When I sit cross legged in the auto and you stop your bike and look hungrily at my legs.
A piece of meat, am I?
How do you think I feel? When I have to continuously watch over my shoulder, because it is 10 pm and there is nobody at the bus stop, except you. Staring at my neck.
When I panic, because my phone is dead, and I am in a cab wearing a backless dress?
When my friends and parents worry that I have to travel alone at night?
When I am sleepless in the bus, thinking, that your hands will pin me down and yank my clothes away?
What makes you think I should not wear that pretty black skirt?
To be scared. Afraid. Tensed. Every time I am not at home.
What makes you think I like it when I find you smiling at my bra strap that shows?
Yes, I wear a bra. Yes, it shows. So?
Ohh, don’t say that its my clothes! I have found you eyeing the waist of that woman who was wearing the plain faded saree. Your eyes get all excited when the young college going girl enters the bus in just a kurta, no dupatta covering her bosom.
And yes, one slip of the pallu or dupatta and you go wild.
Staring. Smiling. And staring.
So, if I have a beer in my hand when I am on a beach, you think you can click my picture?
When I wear hot pants and laugh with a guy you think you can pinch my ass?
Does the lit cigarette in my hand seem like an invitation to you? To come violate my body with your eyes?
Yes, I am a girl and I drink alcohol, so I am an ‘easy target’. Is that it?
Yes, I drink. I smoke. Does that mean I want to have sex with you and every man on the street?
You. Who teach your daughter to be safe from evil eyes, don’t flinch before mentally having sex with me when you see me on the street?
You, who get angry when a boy smiles at your sister, don’t feel ashamed standing at the street corner whistling at me every night.
No practice what you preach, for you, right.
Do you still think I am the one who needs to change?

An Unforgettable Conversation Between A Man And An Engineer In Train

10857773_10153043407468790_3813108828087059060_n
#HappyFathersDay
An Indian Army soldier and a software engineer met in Shatabadi Express and here is an interesting conversation that transpired between them:
Vivek Pradhan was not a happy man. Even the plush comfort of the air-conditioned compartment of the Shatabdhi express could not cool his frayed nerves. He was the Project Manager and still not entitled to air travel. It was not the prestige he sought; he had tried to reason with the admin person, it was the savings in time. As PM, he had so many things to do!!
He opened his case and took out the laptop, determined to put the time to some good use.
“Are you from the software industry sir,” the man beside him was staring appreciatively at the laptop. Vivek glanced briefly and mumbled in affirmation, handling the laptop now with exaggerated care and importance as if it were an expensive car.
“You people have brought so much advancement to the country, Sir. Today everything is getting computerized. ”
“Thanks,” smiled Vivek, turning around to give the man a look. He always found it difficult to resist appreciation. The man was young and stockily built like a sportsman. He looked simple and strangely out of place in that little lap of luxury like a small town boy in a prep school. He probably was a railway sportsman making the most of his free traveling pass.
“You people always amaze me,” the man continued, “You sit in an office and write something on a computer and it does so many big things outside.”
Vivek smiled deprecatingly. Naive ness demanded reasoning not anger. “It is not as simple as that my friend. It is not just a question of writing a few lines. There is a lot of process that goes behind it.”
For a moment, he was tempted to explain the entire Software Development Lifecycle but restrained himself to a single statement. “It is complex, very complex.”
“It has to be. No wonder you people are so highly paid,” came the reply.
This was not turning out as Vivek had thought. A hint of belligerence crept into his so far affable, persuasive tone. ”
Everyone just sees the money. No one sees the amount of hard work we have to put in. Indians have such a narrow concept of hard work. Just because we sit in an air-conditioned office, does not mean our brows do not sweat. You exercise the muscle; we exercise the mind and believe me that is no less taxing.”
He could see, he had the man where he wanted, and it was time to drive home the point.
“Let me give you an example. Take this train. The entire railway reservation system is computerized. You can book a train ticket between any two stations from any of the hundreds of computerized booking centers across the country.
Thousands of transactions accessing a single database, at a time concurrently; data integrity, locking, data security. Do you understand the complexity in designing and coding such a system?”
The man was awestruck; quite like a child at a planetarium. This was something big and beyond his imagination.
“You design and code such things.”
“I used to,” Vivek paused for effect, “but now I am the Project Manager.”
“Oh!” sighed the man, as if the storm had passed over,
“So your life is easy now.”
This was like the last straw for Vivek. He retorted, “Oh come on, does life ever get easy as you go up the ladder. Responsibility only brings more work.
Design and coding! That is the easier part. Now I do not do it, but I am responsible for it and believe me, that is far more stressful. My job is to get the work done in time and with the highest quality.
To tell you about the pressures, there is the customer at one end, always changing his requirements, the user at the other, wanting something else, and your boss, always expecting you to have finished it yesterday.”
Vivek paused in his diatribe, his belligerence fading with self-realization. What he had said, was not merely the outburst of a wronged man, it was the truth. And one need not get angry while defending the truth.
“My friend,” he concluded triumphantly, “you don’t know what it is to be in the Line of Fire”
The man sat back in his chair, his eyes closed as if in realization. When he spoke after sometime, it was with a calm certainty that surprised Vivek.
“I know sir…. I know what it is to be in the Line of Fire…….”
He was staring blankly, as if no passenger, no train existed, just a vast expanse of time.
“There were 30 of us when we were ordered to capture Point 4875 in the cover of the night.
The enemy was firing from the top.
There was no knowing where the next bullet was going to come from and for whom.
In the morning when we finally hoisted the tricolour at the top only 4 of us were alive.”
“You are a…?”
“I am Subedar Sushant from the 13 J&K Rifles on duty at Peak 4875 in Kargil. They tell me I have completed my term and can opt for a soft assignment.
But, tell me sir, can one give up duty just because it makes life easier.
On the dawn of that capture, one of my colleagues lay injured in the snow, open to enemy fire while we were hiding behind a bunker.
It was my job to go and fetch that soldier to safety. But my captain sahib refused me permission and went ahead himself.
He said that the first pledge he had taken as a Gentleman Cadet was to put the safety and welfare of the nation foremost followed by the safety and welfare of the men he commanded… ….his own personal safety came last, always and every time.”
“He was killed as he shielded and brought that injured soldier into the bunker. Every morning thereafter, as we stood guard, I could see him taking all those bullets, which were actually meant for me. I know sir….I know, what it is to be in the Line of Fire.”
Vivek looked at him in disbelief not sure of how to respond. Abruptly, he switched off the laptop.
It seemed trivial, even insulting to edit a Word document in the presence of a man for whom valor and duty was a daily part of life; valour and sense of duty which he had so far attributed only to epical heroes.
The train slowed down as it pulled into the station, and Subedar Sushant picked up his bags to alight.
“It was nice meeting you sir.”
Vivek fumbled with the handshake.
This hand… had climbed mountains, pressed the trigger, and hoisted the tricolour. Suddenly, as if by impulse, he stood up at attention and his right hand went up in an impromptu salute.
It was the least he felt he could do for the country.
PS:- The incident he narrated during the capture of Peak 4875 is a true-life incident during the Kargil war. Capt. Batra sacrificed his life while trying to save one of the men he commanded, as victory was within sight. For this and various other acts of bravery, he was awarded the Param Vir Chakra, the nation’s highest military award.

World’s First Solar Powered Aircraft Takes Off On Round-The-World Flight

The Solar Impulse 2 isn’t any average aircraft: it’s been designed from the ground up with this mission in mind. Over 17,000 solar cells line its wings, supplying a series of electric motors and charging four on-board lithium batteries. It’s designed to be entirely solar-powered, and, thanks to those batteries, able to fly through day and night. While we’ve certainly seen solar planes before, it’s the first that can actually fly between continents — and, if all goes well, it’ll soon be the first to fly around the world.
The trip is due to take place over five months. It’s starting and finishing in Abu Dhabi, with around 25 full flight days split into twelve legs.
Solar Impulse, claimed to be the world’s only solar-powered aircraft, will make a stop over in Ahmedabad tomorrow as a part of its maiden global journey.
The tiny cockpit will be packed with essentials for the journey — enough food and water for a week — as well as a parachute, life raft and oxygen bottles in case of emergencies.
Borschberg and Piccard, who piloted an earlier version of the plane across the U.S. in 2013, are no strangers to adventure. Borschberg is a former fighter pilot, and Piccard was part of the first team to circumnavigate the earth nonstop in a balloon in 1999.

Gear Up! Do these 'five things' before the Navratri begins!

Gear Up! Do these 'five things' before the Navratri begins!

With the arrival of the spring season, here comes the time of Navratri!  Besides fasting, which is considered very significant, Navratri comes with certain restrictions which might or might not be liked by the younger generation.
While devotes are all set to cash on the sacred period of worshipping Goddesses Durga, youngsters might have to plan up something to else for the next nine days.
So before the Navratri fever grabs your house, take out the time to do these things today!
Non Veg food
non veg food in navratri
Navratri is a pious time; hence there is strict no-no to non –vegetarian food for the devotees during the period of nine days.
So better make all your visits to KFC, Karim Chacha, and other non-veg food outlets today itself. Coz agle 9 days you are gonna be a pure ‘veggie’.
Today, you might hear phrases like ‘Bhai aaj murga phadne chal, ab 9 din chutti hai’ or ‘Yaar kaise rahenge 9 days without non veg’.
Alcohol
alcohol during navratri
Afraid to tell you! But Navratri will certainly not allow you to go ‘Char Bottle vodka, kaam mera roz ka” way! And not only vodka, there will be no rum, whisky, beer, scotch, breeze to sail you through.
So, it’s better to be ‘One Bottle Down’ today.
Dating
sex during navratri
Don’t say ‘No’ to love today!
Well! You are not supposed to do love making while Navratri is going on. So, before you get drown in the love of Maa Durga, today is the day to spend some ‘lovey-dovey’ time with your girl friend and boyfriend!
No plan yet? Make some now before the time runs out!
Abusing/Cuss words
abusive language in navratri
“Oh teri ma ka sakinaka”! You will have to keep such cuss words deep inside your mouth for the next nine days.
And its not going to be easy for the people for whom ‘swear-words’ are nothing less than the vocabulary.
So, aaj hi ‘Jeeyo Jee Bhar Ke’
Hair Cut/ Nail Cut
haircut navratri
Hey ladies, get done with you haircuts, manicures & pedicures before the day ends, else you are going to be same for the next nine days.
For the boys, I think it doesn’t matter at all!

21 Instances Of Sledging In Cricket That Will Make You Go LOL

It's called the gentleman's game but that doesn't stop cricketers from taking a dig or two at their opponents. Termed in cricketing circles as 'sledging', it is a ploy used by players to weaken the opponent's concentration by insulting or verbally intimidating them. Here are 21 classic instances of sledging from the world of cricket.

1. Evidently, Ravi Shastri had the gift of the gab even during his playing days.

2. Daryll Cullinan gets the better of Shane Warne.

3. Mark Waugh asked for this one from James Ormond.

4. You don't mess with Viv Richards as Glamorgan paceman Greg Thomas painfully found out.

5. Glenn McGrath uses Dennis Lillee's classic line on English skipper Michael Atherton.

6. English pacer Fred Trueman couldn't resist taking a jab at his teammate...

7. Australians sledging was prevalent even during the times of Don Bradman...

8. English spinner Phil Tufnell takes out his frustration on the umpire after his appeal against Dean Jones is turned down.

9. Australian Ian Healy accuses Michael Atherton of cheating during England's tour of Australia.

10. Eddo Brandes gets Glenn McGrath to shut the xxxx up

11. But McGrath will never learn.

12. Parthiv Patel should know better than to mess with the great Steve Waugh.

13. Rod Marsh and Ian Botham.

14. Australian Merv Hughes was the king of sledging.

15. Nobody could mess with Hughes. Javed Miandad tried.

16. But there were some who gave it back to Hughes. Like English

batsman Robin Smith.

17. The Aussies figure out a way to get the Sri Lankan skipper out.

18. Steve Waugh shows why he was appointed captain of the best

sledgers in world cricket.

19. Jamie Siddons tried to mess with Steve Waugh. And failed.

20. Merv Hughes was so brave he got the better of Viv Richards too.

21. Being Austrlian, I guess Lillee couldn't resist messing with the English skipper.

SpaceX calls off launch of space weather satellite

Falcon 9 Rocket Launch

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. —
The SpaceX company has called off Sunday's launch of a deep-space observatory.
The countdown was halted at the two-and-a-half-minute mark at Cape Canaveral, Florida, because of a problem with a rocket-tracking system. At the same time, SpaceX was dealing with a rocket issue.
SpaceX had been aiming for a launch and landing within minutes of each other. The next try could come as early as Monday.
The company's main objective is to launch the government's Deep Space Climate Observatory to monitor solar outbursts. The spacecraft is refashioned from the Earth-gazing satellite conceived in the late 1990s by then Vice President Al Gore. Gore was on hand for the launch attempt and said he was grateful to all those who kept his dream alive.
A secondary goal is to attempt a landing of the leftover booster on an ocean platform. Last month's effort failed.

Crisis? What crisis? Harmony restored as Barcelona close in on Madrid

Crisis? What crisis? Harmony restored as Barcelona close gap on Madrid

By Ben Hayward | Spanish Football Writer
Crisis? What crisis? Since losing at Real Sociedad on January 4 and the well-publicised fall-out between Luis Enrique and Lionel Messi, Barcelona have now won their last nine games. They overcame a tough test with three points at San Mames on Sunday to close in on Real Madrid. Harmony restored; title hopes revived.

Barca have struggled at Athletic Bilbao in recent seasons, having been held to an entertaining 2-2 draw in Pep Guardiola's last season, tying again with the same scoreline under Tito Vilanova in 2012-13 and then losing out by a single goal with Tata Martino on the bench last term.

But there were no such problems this time around. Athletic gave it a good go early on but the Leones were soon tamed by a slick Barca side, with Messi's deflected free-kick giving the Catalans the lead and Luis Suarez adding a second from the edge of the box after he had previously seen a point-blank header saved by Gorka Iraizoz.

In the second half, Mikel Rico restored hope for Athletic with a close-range effort after Claudio Bravo had saved from Aritz Aduriz, but Barca responded almost immediately and Oscar de Marcos turned Messi's effort into his own net before Neymar subsequently added another.

Constantly questioned earlier this season, all three of Barca's South American forwards were on target for Barca again on Sunday. They have taken their time, but Messi, Suarez and Neymar are clicking into gear as a trident and that is great news for Luis Enrique.
So too is Barca's run of victories. Nine straight wins in all competitions have seen the Catalan club put talk of a crisis behind them and move into the kind of form that suggests they can claim the biggest prizes in 2014-15.

In La Liga, Real Madrid's 4-0 defeat to Atletico on Saturday gave Barca the chance to close to within a point of Carlo Ancelotti's side and this time Barca grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

Messi made the fifth goal of the night, finished by Pedro from a Sergio Busquets pass, and the Argentine is now level with former Barca and Madrid winger Luis Figo on 106 Liga assists - another record set to fall to the astonishing Argentine attacker.

"It's a enornmous privilege to have a player like Messi," Luis Enrique said afterwards. "But the recognition is for the whole team when they are at a level like today."

What will be particularly pleasing for the Barca boss is the way the team have responded since the chaos at Anoeta, when Messi was benched following a bust-up with his coach and refused to attend training the next day.

All of that is now in the past and with 16 rounds remaining of La Liga, Luis Enrique's side seem to be hitting the heights at just the right time.

"The players aren't machines," Luis Enrique added. "We have all made mistakes. There is no magic key we have found. My aim is for us to give our best version always."

That version was certainly in evidence again on Sunday and with Madrid in turmoil following their damaging defeat at Atleti on Saturday and some indifferent form of late, Barca are well and truly in the title picture now and apparently improving too as the weeks go by. Crisis? What crisis?

Cricket World Cup 2015

Cricket World Cup 2015

The opening ceremony for the Cricket World Cup will be packed with musical, theatrical and cultural performances from some of New Zealand's best-known cricketers and entertainers.

Former cricket captain Stephen Fleming will take part in the theatrical element of the show.

He will be taking the stage with some familiar faces to tell the story of a young cricketer who dreams of making it big.

Since seeing the stage set up in North Hagley Park the nerves had kicked in for Fleming, he said.

"It's looking pretty impressive," he said.

"Now I've just got make sure I get my lines right."

The event would finish with the biggest fireworks display to ever be held in Christchurch.

The show on Thursday night will be followed two days later by the first game New Zealand v Sri Lanka on Saturday at nearby Hagley Oval.
